  • Just Breath – It may sound simple but it works. Take three long deep breaths before you react to a stressful situation or if you just need to remain calm.
  • Move – Don’t have time for a 90 minute Yoga class or time to get to the gym, just do 3-4 yoga poses or take a walk around the block. You’ll return refreshed and ready to tackle any project.
  • Show Gratitude – Remember the things you are grateful for. Your stress levels will decrease as you raise your vibration of gratitude. Feeling grateful will keep you calm and bring you peace.
  • Quite Time – You don’t have to spend hours meditating in a cave in the Himalayas, just enjoy a few minutes of quiet time, as you focus on your breathing.
  • De-Clutter – Clutter creates stress. Take just a few minutes to clear off your desk or clear out any distracting piles. You will feel relaxed and be able to think clearer.

  • Let Go of the Small Stuff – Life isn’t perfect. Sometimes life’s bumps and detours can end up bringing you joy. Detach from your “ideal” outcome and allow life to flow.
  • Be Present – We spend a lot of time worrying about the future and bemoaning the past. Both of which keep you from enjoying the present moment. Staying fully present in the moment you can ensure happiness and joy right now.
  • Reduce Bad News – Limit the time you spend watching and listening to the news. It’s all negative and stressful. This will only increase your stress levels.
